Queens is the king of Mega Millions
Since August last year, the New York Borough of Queens has supplied four second prize Mega Millions winners, the latest in the series of wins being this week.
Sunil Bacchus, 34, of Bayside, this week claimed a second place prize of $250,000, won in the August 25 Mega Millions draw.
The winning ticket was purchased at Pan’s 168 Market on 101st Avenue in Ozone Park, and was a Quick Pick ticket.
Mr Bacchus works as a Network Administrator for Konica Minolta, and of his win, said, "“Money is good,” and that he plans to use his newly won money to “save for retirement.”
The $250,000 lucky streak for the Borough began on August 9, when Gregory Primus of Far Rockaway won $250,000. Next was Cesar Parra of Corona was next with his claim on August 17, followed by Kathy Eng from Woodside, who claimed her prize on August 23.
